Born in Hungary in 1991, I moved to Austria after graduating high school to study Social and Cultural Anthropology at the University of Vienna. I now permanently live in Vienna with my partner and our two cats. Becoming a counselor allowed me to work with people and to do my part to dismantle the social stigma surrounding mental health. I strongly believe in the importance of talking openly and honestly about our mental and emotional well-being. Mental health services like counseling are not just for people with mental illnesses or official diagnoses: Anyone can benefit from this kind of professional support.
By mixing work, trainings and university, I am all too familiar with the hectic lives and challenges faced by young adults. Supporting Millennials and Gen Z as they claim their place in society is a topic that’s near and dear to my heart. Of course, my practice is open to anyone, regardless of gender, sexuality, ethnicity, or faith. No one should experience discrimination because of who they are and I strive to provide a safe, welcoming, LGBTQIA+ friendly environment for anyone looking for counseling.
As a counselor, I follow a systemic approach. This means that while my focus is on you as an individual, we also take into consideration the wider network of relationships and circumstances that contribute to your current situation. As social beings, our lives are heavily influenced by the web of professional, personal, and intimate relationships around us. Consequently, these interactions and relationships play an important part in psychological counseling as well.
